A 9-Day Navratri Family Challenge: Daily Activities

A simple daily task, like learning one dance step, trying one new food, or wearing the specific color.

Nine-day family challenge

DayActivity
1Create a small clean prayer/art space.
2Learn one simple Garba clap pattern.
3Cook or taste one festival food.
4Wear or draw the day’s color.
5Read about one Goddess form.
6Call an elder and ask about a family tradition.
7Make a small diya/garbi craft.
8Do a community-service or kindness task.
9Create a one-page festival memory summary.

Keep participation optional

A family challenge should create curiosity, not turn devotion into homework. Skip or adapt activities for age, school schedules, disability, dietary needs and family tradition.
