Long-wear makeup strategy
- Start with clean, moisturized skin and allow products to set.
- Use a thin primer where you tend to get oily rather than applying a heavy layer everywhere.
- Choose thin, buildable base layers.
- Use water-resistant liner/mascara if desired.
- Set strategically with powder and finish with setting spray.
- Carry blotting paper, lip color and a small powder rather than a full kit.
Heat and skin comfort
Sweat-proof should not mean occlusive layers that become uncomfortable. Patch-test new products before the festival, remove makeup fully after long nights, and stop using anything that causes irritation.
