Kids need comfort before spectacle
- Use lightweight cotton or soft blends under heavy-looking decorative panels.
- Avoid floor-length hems that children can step on.
- Secure dupattas or replace them with short capes/jackets for younger children.
- Choose lightweight, rounded jewelry without sharp edges.
- Label water bottles and plan breaks at long events.
Let children move before buying
Have the child sit, run, turn and raise both arms in the complete outfit. If the outfit only looks good while standing still, it is not a good Garba outfit for a child.
